Camping information for this weekend's adventure

- Packing list.  Please read and bring the appropriate items for your family. As we are being environmentally friendly, PLEASE note that we need each camper to bring their own mess kit (plates, cups, silver/plasticware).

- Tuckahoe camping map. Shows where the youth group pavilion is.

Directions: Tuckahoe State Park is located approximately 35 miles east of the Bay Bridge just off MD RT 404, on Maryland's Eastern Shore. On RT 50/301 East, over Bay Bridge, RT 50/301 splits, bear to the right on RT 50. Make a left at the intersection of RT 50 and RT 404. Go approximately 8 miles until you come to the intersection of RT 404 and RT 480. Make a left on RT 480. To your immediate left take Eveland Road. Once on Eveland Road follow directional signs to area of choice.

Additional Information:
Traffic: The Bay Bridge boat show is this weekend on Kent Island, right over the Bay Bridge. Please expect traffic to be heavier than normal during boat show hours.

Amenities: We have sites YG2 and YG4. Large, open site (partially- to heavily shaded) to accommodate up to 30 people per site. Sites are primitive and equipped with 3 or 4 picnic tables, a fire ring (with grillplate) and a water spigot within 50 yards of the site.  Ample parking. 

Bathroom Facilities: Bathroom facilities for those camping in the Youth Group Campground are located at the rear of the field near Youth Group Site #4. Youth Group campers are not permitted to use the bathhouses on the neighboring non-electric or electric camping loops.

Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are maintained in the campground from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Firewood Restriction: Due to the potential threat of the emerald ash borer, the importation of personal firewood into all Maryland Department of Natural Resources properties is prohibited.
