    the pbwiki.

  • There will be a tree planting service activity at Freedom Park on Saturday April 25 at 8:30 AM.

There are 1000 trees to plant. This service project might help your boys with the World

Conservation Award or other service requirements for rank advancement. Contact Noel-Marie Taylor

or 410-868-7861. Bring work gloves, shovel, water bottle.

  • Carroll District is trying to coordinate a service day at Carroll County parks. Carroll County

Parks and Rec deals very favorably with Carroll District, allowing us to use Freedom Park several

times per year for Klondike Derby and Spring Camporee, and Bear Branch for Day Camp. This is a way

to maintain strong relationship and also to :

** teach Cub Scouts about service

** give back to Carroll County Parks and Rec

** create publicity for Scouting at recruiting time

The date is scheduled for Saturday, October 10th. They are looking for a few volunteers to form a

committee to organize this. More details will be forthcoming.
